The Shapes of Eid, According to Me follows a little girl who searches for the crescent moon but only finds five pointed stars. At last, she spots the long awaited silver curvy moon signifying that the Eid celebrations will start the next day. That night, she paints her hands with henna designs of swirls, flowers and zigzag lines. The following day as the golden circle around the sun glows, she wakes up excited to her mom and dad’s rectangle Eid card that reads “Eid Mubaarak.”
